Role description

Kacha is a mission lead recruitment firm dedicated to supporting organisations to achieve gender balance. We help clients address diversity in their recruitment process, as a catalyst for changing the balance of genders across the organisation. If a recruitment process would typically attract disproportionately more male candidates, Kacha works to ensure a balanced candidate shortlist.

Our client is an Australian owned software business. Their software is used to track and manage resources, personnel, logistics activities, and even weather events in large complex, asset-intensive environments.

A smaller heading

They are present in more than twelve countries around the world. The application integrates a large variety of different data into an easy to interpret dashboard that provides a plethora of functions to its users.

Having recently received a significant funding injection, and the energy and vision of a new CEO, this organisation is now taking a behemoth of an application and revolutionising it for a variety of unique environments and commercial integrations.

In the role of CTO, reporting to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to be involved in:

  • Defining the product roadmap at a strategic and commercial level
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the broader organisation
  • Leading up to five separate technical squads in application development and evolution
  • Mentoring and developing direct reports
  • Inspiring technical teams with a vision of what's possible in presently untapped markets
  • Working with regional operations directors across the world to ensure application development aligns with customer requirements
